zero emissions in flight
All-Electric Powertrain
Six independent motors deliver instant, silent torque with no single point of failure — and no fuel smell on your morning commute.
The Aircraft
Six electric rotors. Four seats. One quiet promise — the fastest way across the city should also be the calmest.
Anatomy of the V‑1
Trace the systems that make vertical flight feel effortless — hover a marker to spotlight each one.
01
Acoustic Canopy
the city, muted
Wraparound laminated glass tuned to soften rotor tone while opening the whole skyline to the cabin.
03
Battery Deck
fire-isolated, swap-ready cells
A belly-mounted pack in isolated modules, fast-charged to 80% in 30 minutes between flights.
02
Tilting Rotors
six independent lift units
Six electric rotors lift the V‑1 straight up, then tilt forward for efficient wing-borne cruise. Any one can fail safely.
04
Cabin
four seats, first-class pitch
A quiet, climate-preset cabin for four riders and a pilot. Step in flat — no ladder, no squeeze.
Hover or tap a marker to spotlight a system.
Design Details
Every gram, decibel and stitch on the V‑1 earns its place. These are the details riders feel first.

quieter than rainfall overhead
Low tip speeds and staggered blade phasing hold the V‑1 to about 45 dBA from the street — conversation-level, not helicopter-level.
four seats, full-height glass
Panoramic acoustic glazing, climate preset from the app before you arrive, and seat pitch borrowed from first class.
160 km per charge
Downtown to the airport, city to lakeshore towns — with certified reserve margins built into every flight plan.
above the gridlock
After vertical lift, the V‑1 tilts into efficient wing-borne cruise — sipping energy while the highway sits still below.
charged between flights
Fast-charge to 80% during the boarding cycle; battery modules are swap-serviceable at every vertiport.
By the Numbers
Design targets for the pre-production aircraft, validated through our ongoing flight-test campaign.
cruise speed, above the gridlock
range on a single charge
independent electric lift units
perceived overhead — rainfall is louder
passenger seats, first-class pitch
fast-charge back to 80%
Figures are design targets for the pre-production V‑1 and may evolve through certification.
Materials & Philosophy
“An aircraft you board twice a day should feel less like a machine and more like a well-made room in the sky.”VOLANT design principles — no. 03
The V‑1 airframe is a carbon-fibre monocoque — the same logic as a racing shell, tuned for ten thousand quiet city flights instead of one loud lap. Stiffness lives exactly where the lift loads travel; everywhere else, material is simply removed.
Inside, we traded aerospace grey for dawn warmth: reclaimed technical textiles, soft-touch surfaces that wear in rather than wear out, and a livery that carries the morning sky — indigo above, peach below.
